Tournament Season 2011
School is almost out and Luke is deep into his Karate Tournament Season. Back in Feburary
Luke and I headed down to Texas for The Lone Star Open. A great time and a wonderful Hotel. Then after that was the UTA
Tang Soo Do Tournament. A long drawn out competion and not very well run. The Amerikick was another Tournament that didn't
seem to be very well run but Luke did do very well there too. Videos of Luke's Tournaments can be seen on his You Tube
Channel "Sleadie59". The weekend of May 14 is the 34th Annual All Tang Soo Do Connecticut Stat Championships. Grand
Master Ferraro hosts this tournament and it is a lot of fun. The competion is very tough as Grand Master Ferraro's students
are very well trained. Luke has been working very hard as of late to get ready for this competition and is ready to go. Luke
and Mr. Chris have worked together before and after classes to fine tune things. Videos will be posted Sunday May 15 on you

UTA Palmyra Tournament 4/16/2011
This was a very long day as we thought that Mr Chris, Luke's instructor, was going
to be getting his 3rd Dan in the Morning. Par for the course time changed and the ceremony was in the afternoon and Mr. Chris
got his 3rd Dan in the afternoon so we were there from 9:00am untill 3 just waiting for luke to compete. With all that said
luke received a 1st in Forms and a 2nd in Sparring. We didn't get home untill 7:00 that night. We will have to rethink
next years toernament.
