All Tang Soo Do Championship Woburn Mass March 2010
It was a long drive from Glen Rock up to Wobrn Mass. It took Luke and I just about
8 hours to get there. We went right to the tournament bypassing Jimm Brett. Old friend I felt could wait to be graced by our
company :>). There were already people there checking into the Hotel from Ireland and I believe Germany. Luke got into
his karate uniform and began stretching out for the nights competition of weapons. Luke's uncle Kevin and Aunt Mary showed
up to lend their support. The night began with all the weapons being pulled out of the Gym Bags and and people practicing
before their event. Lukes group got a jump on things and began fairly quickly. When the night was over Luke had won first
place for his age group. We headed over to Jim's house, lets not forget Jim, to have some dinner and get Luke to bed early.
That was good cause the stories from the old days are best left in the old days for right now. :>). By the end of the next
day Luke had won a first in forms and a second in sparring. Luke is now training for the US Karate Open being held down in
Florida at Disney World. There he will be competeing in Weapons and in Traditional Forms. Thank You Jim for putting up with
us and it was great seeing you.
