"UTA All Tang Soo Do Karate Invitational" was held September 19, 2009 and what a day it was. Grand Masters
right on down to White Belts where there to participate in the 3rd annual championship. As the day started no one anticipated
that it would be as long a day as it turned out to be.
9:00 am the tournament started out with Masters going first to
compete then it was the Black Belts turn. After many hours of Black Belts competing against each other it was time for the
Gups (colored belts) to compete against each other. This was an exciting time to see how our kids, some of whom have never
competed before, would do against each other in the UTA family and other schools from various states across the country. I
filmed much of went on but unfortunately all my video was erased by some computer malfunction and I am unable to show how
our kids did. I can say that it was very exciting and all of our kids, who trained very hard for this tournament, did very
well. As I do not have all of the results yet, I can tell you that Luke did very well and came home with three gold
